Grants
We recognize the importance of providing support to students and early career academics who are the future leaders and innovators in the field of ICT. To ensure broad participation and diversity of voices at our conference, we are pleased to offer the following grant opportunities:
Complementary Fees Grant: This grant covers partial fees associated with conference registration. Recipients of this grant will be responsible for a reduced registration fee, enabling them to attend the conference at a more affordable rate.
Full Registration Exemption Grant: This grant provides full exemption from conference registration fees. Recipients of this grant will have their registration fees completely waived, allowing them to attend the conference at no cost.
To be eligible for the grants, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a student enrolled in an academic program at a recognized institution, or an early career academic within five years of completing their highest degree.
- Have an accepted paper for presentation at the Zimbabwe Conference on ICT.
- Demonstrate financial need, as assessed by the grant selection committee.

Application Process
To apply for a grant, eligible individuals must complete the following steps:
Paper Submission: Submit a paper for consideration to the Zimbabwe Conference on ICT. Details regarding paper submission guidelines and deadlines can be found on our conference website.
Grant Application: Once the paper is accepted for presentation, applicants can proceed to submit a grant application. The application form will be available on the conference website and will require applicants to provide information about their academic background, financial need, and a brief statement explaining why they require financial assistance to attend the conference.
Review Process: All grant applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of conference organizers and independent reviewers. Applications will be evaluated based on the applicant’s eligibility, financial need, and the quality and relevance of their submitted paper.
Notification: Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their grant application prior to the conference registration deadline. Successful applicants will receive instructions on how to claim their grant and register for the conference.
